1) The Candidate who have changed their name officially through Government Gazette Notification only can apply for Name Change in University records through this portal (As per U.O Number 6514/AC A 4/2024/MGU dated 18.07.2024)
2)This application is not for Name Correction.
3) Candidate should upload the First & concerned pages of Government Gazette Notification.
4) Candidate should enter details of all courses/programmes studied in this University.
5) Candidate should upload atleast one marklist of programme/s, he/she is applying for Name Change.
6) If reprinting is required, Candidate should enter the details of the certificates, mark lists that need to be updated.
7) Candidate Should Enter the year of your first admission to this University in the Column “Year of First enrolment with MGU”.
8) It is not possible to reissue Certificates/Mark lists for programmes under annual scheme and for old programmes for which the format is unavailable.
Image size each not more than 250KB. You should ensure that the uploaded certificate is very clear and readable. Unreadable certificates will lead to the rejection of your application.

- Name change upto 1 year-Rs.615
- Name change One to Five Years-Rs 1225
- Name change Five to Ten Years- Rs.2440
- Name change After Ten Years- Rs.4055
- Degree Certificate - Rs.1050 (Per programme)
- Provisional Certificate- Rs.315 (Per programme)
- Separate grade card/Marlist- Rs.450, Maximum 10000 (Per programme)
- Consolidated grade card/ Marklist- Rs.975
